Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985, in New York City New York) has received acclaim for her abilities to perform across genres such as historical dramas, thrillers and action adventures. Johansson was the daughter of an architect as well as a producer, was born within New York City. She was the twin sister of Hunter and her were the youngest siblings. When she was a child she began to develop a passion for performing and started making commercial auditions around the age seven. Following a short period her studies began at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Later on, the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the age of eight, she starred alongside Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry when she was nine. At that age, she made her film debut in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen on the screen in Just Cause (1995), her debut occurred in the form of Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters who run away. Her next film won critical acclaim for her role in the film as a teen who suffered a disfiguring accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) as well as further recognition for her role as the cynical teenage who is a solitary Rebecca In Ghost World (2001). She was a performer since she was a child. Smith landed the first of many acting roles when she was just 6. She created a commercial with Dannon. In the same way as many young actresses she began her career in theatre. When she performed her stage debut in Wildflower she would also work on different projects across USA. She attended the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
